Thank you to all who submitted applications for Use Reusables grants during the recent grant cycle. Seven [7] requests for funding to implement Reusables were received, totaling nearly $30,000. Five projects have been approved, including a switch to reusable pallet wrap at Gu Energy in Berkeley, CA and the replacement of cardboard 'gaylord' boxes with rolling bulk bins at Surplus Service, an E-waste recycler in Fremont, CA. The StopWaste Use Reusables team is supporting the new grantees as they put the projects in place.
